Catalog of Giving

This year, CCPC is honored to be included along with over 100 other area non-profits in the Statesman Journal’s Catalog of Giving. For the third year in a row, this catalog has been published in order to provide residents of the Mid-Willamette Valley with opportunities to give much-need items to the groups who are helping our community.

Each non-profit was invited to share three requests in the catalog. For this year, we categorized our requests into the following three areas:

  • Kitchen furnishings: electric stove, pots and pans, bakeware, and small appliances
  • Youth supplies: new coats and shoes (in teenager sizes), duffel bags, and school materials
  • Digital camcorder for recording training sessions

The kitchen furnishings will go toward outfitting a newly remodeled kitchen area, where youth will learn life skills and healthy living practices. The majority of the grant funding for the kitchen remodel has been received, and we are hopeful that the remainder of funds needed will come in soon to help us complete the job.

We are always in need of youth supplies such as those listed above. Although we receive generous donations from the Sleep Country Foster Kids Foundation each year, many of the donations come in sizes too small for the youth we serve at CCPC. More teenager-appropriate items would be a great asset to us as Christmas approaches.

A digital camcorder would be useful to us, as we use one to record our training sessions for staff who cannot be present. Our current camcorder is on its last legs and is no longer reliable. A new (or gently used) model will improve the quality of our training videos and will last us a long time.

Thank you for considering how you can give to help CCPC fulfill our mission to serve the youth and families in our community.
